The Devil's Breakfast Table

The Devil's Breakfast Table, in the upper portion of the Gulf, is a point on the river where two large, flat rocks stretch toward one another, narrowing the river into a roaring chasm of whitewater and providing an exhilarating challenge for paddlers of all persuasions. Starting at a point just above the Devil's Breakfast Table, the Caney Fork drops over 100 feet in just over a mile. The Caney Fork is categorized as a Class 5 whitewater river for much of its journey through Scott's Gulf.
